Tara Barnett began her career as an assistant at the Telluride Montessori School in 2002 after graduating from Rhode Island College with a BA in English and a minor in Secondary Education. It was here that she discovered her passion for working with young children and a calling as a Montessorian. Wanting to learn more about the Montessori philosophy and make this her life’s work, she moved to San Diego where she earned her AMI Primary certification from the Montessori Institute of San Diego along with a Masters of Education from Loyola College in Maryland.
