Director of Communications Experiential Education Coordinator
Jamie's adventures began in the San Juan Islands where she grew up sea kayaking. After moving to the mainland, she took off running up mountains and down rivers. She studied Sports Medicine at Colorado State University while instructing at The Outdoor Adventure Program. Jamie holds a BA in Experiential Education at Prescott College and has degrees in visual communications and digital media. She has worked with many non-profits including The Mountainfilm Festival, The Ah Haa School, The Telluride Academy and The Telluride Film Festival and has worked in marketing, graphic design and multi-media for over 20 years while pursuing a love of capturing adventure on camera for local and national television stations as well as assisting in the creation of documentaries. Jamie lives with her husband and son in Telluride, which has stood as her base camp since 2001. She enjoys the incredible community and the fact that adventure is "right out our front door". Jamie fosters, one of TMS’ core values, “Love of Learning” in experiential education and multi-media communications and is happy to be working with a school that has similar philosophies.
