Abby Fox has been living Telluride since 2010. She grew up on the front range and after graduating from Colorado State University with a BA in Spanish and a BFA in printmaking she moved to Latin America. Over an 18 month period she traveled from central Mexico to Tierra del Fuego, climbing volcanoes, volunteering and teaching along the way.
Abby farmed for two summers at Buckhorn Gardens in Colona and moved to Telluride after falling in love with town at Friday farmers markets. Since moving to Telluride she has taught several after school Spanish classes for preschool through first grade, adult Spanish classes for UCSM and was a lead Spanish-speaking teacher at TECC. Outside of TMS she currently works with Spanish-speaking families through Bright Futures, a local non profit, and serves on the board of trustees of the Wilkinson Public Library.
Abby has a passion for travel and loves backpacking, snowboarding, laughing yoga, box canyon booties, huge family dinners, putting together photo albums of her travels, and enjoying life in Telluride.
