Lindsay Pittenger is the new third and fourth grade teacher at Telluride Mountain School.  Born in Vermont and raised in New Hampshire, she has an ingrained love for natural beauty and outdoor activities, including skiing, running, hiking, and surfing. Lindsay attended Syracuse University where she received her BA and has begun studies towards her MEd at Simmons College.  During her time at Syracuse, she discovered her passion for travel and saw much of Europe while working as an intern in London.  After graduating, she worked for the Dexter and Southfield Schools in Brookline, Massachusetts and taught kindergarten through fifth grade.  She is very enthusiastic about sharing her love of learning and love of the outdoors with the children she teaches and being a part of the Mountain School community.
