Sarah Folsom is the Montessori assistant for Amber Hughes' class, as well as the art teacher for kindergarten through second grades.  She grew up in southwest Colorado and is a fifth generation Rico resident.  She graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a minor in Fine Arts.  Sarah is currently pursuing her AMS Early Childhood Montessori training at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies.  She will be fulfilling her practicum training through out the 2009-10 school year.  Sarah has an adventurous personality and enjoys many activities especially traveling.  She has visited several countries on four continents.  Sarah is excited to be a part of Telluride Mountain School and looks forward to continuing her path towards becoming an exceptional teacher.
