Diana Mulligan, her husband Sean, and daughters, Quincey and Matisse moved to Telluride in 2004.  Having spent the previous 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, their early visits to Telluride provided a sense of inspiration, adventure and quality family time.  A desire for a unique educational experience for their children also precipitated their transition to Telluride life.

In 1984, Diana graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in English.  Upon graduating, Diana moved to California to embark on a career in telecommunications.  From 1985 to 1997, Diana worked for Centex Telemanagement and MFS Intelenet in Sales and Service Management.  In 1997, Diana retired from her position as Vice President and General Manager of MFS.

Diana obtained her Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology from JFK University in Pleasant Hill, CA. in 2004.  During this time, Diana served on the Board of Inner City Outings, a non-profit Bay Area organization that provides inner city students access to nature and wilderness experiences.

Diana has served on the Telluride Education Foundation Board.  She recently completed her tenure as Board President of Telluride Academy, and continues to serve as a board member.  She joined the Telluride Mountain School Board of Trustees in 2009.

As a Trustee at the Mountain School, Diana looks forward to becoming an integral part of the school community.  She will strive to help effect balance as the school grows and develops.
