Grant McCargo joined the Telluride Mountain School Board of Trustees in 2007, after years of service on the school's Building and Grounds Committee. Most recently, Grant was instrumental in helping the board acquire a permanent home in its current Lawson Hill facility. He currently serves on both the Building and Grounds Committee and the Finance Committee.
Grant moved to Telluride from San Francisco in 1987. He has two daughters: Keaton attends Telluride Mountain School; Page is a student at Colorado College and an alumnae of the Mountain School.
In his professional life, Grant has been involved in all forms of property ownership and has successfully completed over $2 billion worth of transactions as both an advisor and principal. Grant is the Chief Executive Officer of Urban Villages, Inc. ("UV"), a private real estate company that focuses on the acquisition, development and management of high quality real estate assets throughout the United States. All of UV’s projects value long-term investment horizons, timeless design, and sustainable development and building practices.Grant recently completed a ten-year term on the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
